Daredevils Soar Above Dubai with Personal Jetpacks

No, your eyes aren't deceiving you: these two daredevils are indeed gliding through the city of Dubai on personal jetpacks. Pilot Yves Rossy and renowned skydiver Vince Reffet donned the Jetman wings and soared over the city, flirting with the top of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and swooping over the Liwa desert.
The Jetman wings first rose to prominence in 2008, as Rossy took them for a flight through the Swiss Alps, becoming the first man in history to fly using a jet-engine powered carbon fiber wing. Rossy is now teaming up with Reffet to bring his product to a larger audience in Dubai.
"Jetman is the culmination of over 20 years of innovation and has resulted in achieving my personal dream to fly free, soaring through the sky. Together we will make great advances as we move towards our next big milestone." Rossy remarked in a news release.
